Titusville possesses extraordinary heritage resources, extending from the prehistoric era to the Space Age. It is located along the west bank of the Indian River, opposite Merritt Island and the Kennedy Space Center.
The Titusville Historic Preservation Board sought historical research and design services to produce a booklet, website and mobile audio tour application, for iOS and Android devices, with interactive walking tour map. The goal of the project was to educate the public, owners of historic properties, and visitors about Titusville's history and its unique place near Kennedy Space Center and the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge. The project was also intended to raise public awareness about the need to preserve the City's remaining historic built environment.
